To reserve your spot for 2014, please email email@example.com
The NHICS Ballyvaughan is a week of intensive instruction for adults. Students at all levels of playing, including early learners are welcome, but the course is not suitable for complete beginners. Students who can only attend for some of the days can usually be accommodated, overall numbers permitting.
Noel Hill personally teaches all classes. The workshop takes place in the week following both the Gathering Festival in Killarney (www.thegathering.ie) and the Micho Russell Festival in Doolin (www.michorussellweekend.ie) and in the same week as the Corofin Festival (www.corofintradfest.com).
The workshop takes place in Ballyvaughan, Co Clare, a small village on the west coast, overlooking Galway Bay and situated within the famous limestone landscape of the Burren.
Classes are held from Monday through to mid-day on Friday. Students are divided into three groups: early learners, intermediate and advanced, and each group has an hour of tuition, both morning and afternoon
Accommodation is readily available in Ballyvaughan village (self-catering, bed and breakfast) and there are a number of restaurants in the village. Accommodation is not included in the cost of tuition. Information can be provided on accommodation available locally, and some shared accommodation in a self-catering cottage (with own room) can be arranged.
